Customer questions & answers

Question: Can this be placed and used on hard ground, eg tiled floor with anchors?
Answer: As a rule, the ground underneath a garden trampoline should be as even and as soft as possible. Lawn or soil is preferable to hard ground such as stone, wood or asphalt.
If you don't have the option to place the trampoline on soft ground, you should use padding underneath the legs and base elements. Cushioning mats as often used on playgrounds are very useful for this purpose.
It is also important to not have the trampoline stand on different kinds of underground - for example, trying to even out a bumpy meadow with pieces of wood or stone is not good.
The general idea is to allow the substantial forces developing while jumping to be absorbed and led away through the frame evenly. Otherwise the lifetime of the metal elements and the springs especially is likely to be shortened substantially.

Question: How easy and how much time does it take to remove the safety netting and poles for storage?
Answer: Hello we stored it last winter and it is easy to disassemble. The poles unscrew without any problems. Takes about 30-45 mins to takes whole thing apart. Was worth it though as no rust!

Question: Will this be able to be left out in winter?
Answer: Our garden trampolines are designed for outdoor use, hence can be kept outside all year without worries. We would advise to take the safety net down for the winter months, so that the weight of snow and ice won't wear out the mesh material. You should also remove snow from the jumping mat in order to prevent ice from building up, because the weight would put a constant strain on the springs. For the same reason, if you cover the trampoline with a protective tarp to keep it clean, we would suggest to prop the frame up a bit, in a slightly slanted position, so that rain water won't collect on the mat.
If you keep these few points in mind you can leave the trampoline outside without worries.

Question: Is the anchor set really needed? Might be a stupid question but never had a trampoline before!
Answer: While you may find the trampoline to be quite heavy (ours range from 30 to 60 kg in weight, depending on the diameter) and thus safe from gusts of wind, you would be surprised at how much hold the jumping mat offers to the wind. For our customer service staff the busiest time of the year is storm season, from autumn to winter. Not only is the trampoline itself likely to take damage when falling on its side and rolling, we often hear of cases where damage is caused to cars and other valuable property.
We definitely recommend securing your garden trampoline with ground anchors.
